DJ & Event Host / MC
JC aka "Gypzy Mafia": A Global Fusion of Beats, Cultures, and Vibes. With influences from Swedish House Mafia and Gipsy Kings, this nomadic collective blends electronic soundscapes from around the world.
Born in Panama City, Panama to a family of guitarists, artists, and teachers who played music for the church. Since birth, JC has been immersed in art and music with Caribbean and Spanish influences along with a love for percussion played by the marching bands during the yearly Carnaval parades. He plays a multitude of instruments and is an is an alumni of Full Sail University's Music Production Bachelors program.
He began a career in music as an MC and assistant to DJ Mighty Monks in San Antonio, Texas before joining the U.S. Army as an AV systems specialist. After his time in service he worked as a systems engineer while continuing to be involved in the music industry and producing records in his spare time. Shifting his focus into a new emerging genre of Afro-house he began DJing to share music with a positive message and good vibes exclusively. He is now a proud member of Toussaint Productions and enjoys bringing people closer together through music.
