Meet DJ & Event Host Chris Langfitt
DJ & Event Host / MC
Hi, I’m Chris Langfitt, a DJ with over four years of experience behind the decks and a passion
for creating nights people never forget. When I’m not DJing, I’m finishing my undergraduate
degree in Electrical Engineering, which means I bring both creativity and precision to everything
I do.
My style is best described as free-form DJing. I blend genres live and use techniques like
wordplay and vocal mashups to let the music speak for itself. I focus on building momentum and
keeping the energy flowing naturally, rather than forcing transitions or sticking to a rigid playlist.
My taste in music was shaped during my time living in England, where I fell in love with drum
and bass and EDM. At the same time, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for all genres,
especially jazz. I believe great DJing comes from understanding music as a whole, not just one
lane, and that wider perspective lets me move seamlessly between styles and adapt to any crowd.
What really drives me as a DJ is reading the room. I love figuring out what people want to hear
before they even ask, the songs you grew up with, the tracks you blasted on the way to school,
and the ones that instantly pull you onto the dance floor. Every crowd is different, and that
challenge is what makes each night exciting.
My philosophy is simple: communication matters. By connecting with my clients and building
real relationships, I’m not just their DJ for the night, but someone they can trust to bring their
vision to life. When people feel the music, the dance floor stays full, and the night becomes
unforgettable.
