DJ & Event Host / MC

I grew up in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, but I was born in Washington D.C. From a very young age I was surrounded by music. My Dad is a huge Earth, Wind, and Fire fan so they were always on the radio when I was younger. I used to hate it, but as I grew up his music taste grew on me. I wanted to be a DJ because I wanted to be able to spread positive vibes through music. I love the energy that music brings to an environment. As a DJ, I think it is important to be versatile, and knowledgeable about music past and present. What separates a good DJ from a great DJ is the way they are able to take the listener on a journey, all while playing music that they did not know they wanted to hear.

My favorite genre’s include Motown, Soul, Funk, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Top 40, Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Reggaeton, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, and anything with a catchy beat. I want to scratch like Skratch Bastid, but I also enjoy the way DJ’s such as Quick Silva, and Kevin Crown can control a crowd. When I am not DJing, I love to watch tv, and play with my Frenchie puppy. He’s actually one of my biggest critics, but also my biggest fan (especially when I have treats).

I am excited to be your DJ because I get the opportunity to provide the best atmosphere for you and all of your guests. I want to make sure that your event is a memorable one by playing the music you love to listen to, in a completely different way. I love to catch a vibe, so it is a great feeling, to know that the music you are playing is being enjoyed by the crowd. I have a lot of energy, and I am ready to make your event a memorable one.
